The drawing in this blog (2009) is based
on a vision of my body while meditating. It shows the state of the affected areas
three years after the cleansing process: thyroid, liver, ovaries (or perhaps
kidneys), vagina, anus and left thigh. In the vision, the colors were expressive
of the state the organs were in. After I made the drawing, I continued to work with my internal organs by knitting, crocheting, and tying yarns and ropes into three-dimensional objects. I felt that if I decided that the yarn - and the color of it - represented a specific area or organ in my body, I could massage this area or organ with my own fingers, as the fingers concretely massaged and worked through each inch of the yarn as I made the yarn form the organ as a piece of sculpture.
